My wife took this photo.

The flooding has taken 20 lives.

About 400,000 people had been ordered to evacuate North Kyushu.

Obon is a Buddhist festival to recognize ancestral spirits.

That night they light a bonfire and hang lanterns outside their homes to guide their ancestors.

Obon （around mid-August or July）: the Festival of Souls. In this festival a variety of foods are offered to the spirits of ancestors, and their repose prayed for.
